Reasonable chance of becoming Standard Blissymbols:
The
natural images
behind some symbols in this dictionary are not parts of the Blissymbols themselves.
They are there to help introduce/teach Blissymbolics by direct visual association,
bypassing the natural languages which Blissymbolics attempts to bridge.

Which symbols should be accepted as Standard Blissymbols?
With symbols like
submarine
which are composed of glyphs already accepted into the eventual Bliss Unicode Font,
the question is relatively simple:
Does the new symbol make the best use of the Elemental Symbolic Logic of Blissymbolics?
But with proposed symbols like
message in a bottle
and
biplane,
there is the additional question of whether to add a new glyph to the font.
Surely, isolated symbols like these don't rise to that level.
Should we consider having two kinds of accepted Standard Symbols?:
1. Fully accepted and implemented symbols.
2. Accepted but not supported by fonts or software.
